Thank you for visiting this page and for your interest in the festival.

Volunteer applications are welcome from anyone who loves folk music, contributing to the community, team work.

In return for twelve hours of duties you will receive a weekend wristband, a 30th Anniversary volunteer T-shirt, the chance to work with a fantastic team and other benefits. It's a great way to meet people, make new friends, have fun and reconnect with the festival family.

Facebook users are invited to 'Like' the Cygnet Folk Festival Volunteers Facebook page which will provide updates for volunteers. Friends of Cygnet Folk Festival facebook page will also keep you informed of program updates.

Two volunteer briefings will be held in the festival lead time.

Tuesday 22nd Novemberin Hobart 6-7.30pm- for Hobart residents - venue to be advised.
12 December 7 - 8.30pm Cygnet and Huon Residents - venue to be advised.

Online applications will close on Saturday 10th December. After this date if you wish express interest in volunteering please email cffvolunteers@gmail.com to register your interest. Further information about the available work will be sent to you. You will need to fill in a hard copy form when you arrive at the Volunteer Centre at St James College in Cygnet. Site briefings will be held daily from Wednesday 4th January 2012.

Applications must be submitted by the 5^th of December, 2011, but the earlier the better. We hope to place you in your chosen job. We do however receive many applications and this is not always possible.

This year we are looking for team leaders and venue coordinators who will be responsible for groups of volunteers. The usual volunteers' meeting will be held on Wednesday 4^th January 2012, when volunteer passes will be issued, jobs and rosters confirmed. Please do your best to attend this meeting as work begins on Thursday. The camping area will be open on Wednesday morning.

Volunteers who are unknown to us may be asked for a $50 deposit on registration refundable on completion of the job(s).
